Project Fingerprint is an editable personal AI profile: one place to keep the interests, preferences, and practical details you want AI tools to know about you. Reuse that context when asking for recommendations or planning, and choose what to share with each connection.

Write your personal AI profile

Write your interests and practical preferences in plain text. Save them on this device, export aboutme.md, or approve sections for your AI tools. No account is required to write or export. Download a blank personal AI profile template to start in any Markdown editor.

Portable preferences with Markdown

Export your profile as aboutme.md and provide it to an AI tool that accepts text or Markdown files. An export is a snapshot: edit your profile and export again when you want a fresh copy. It does not automatically synchronize an assistant's built-in memory.

Connect through the API or MCP

Project Fingerprint provides a personal context API and a hosted MCP server. Apps and backend services can read approved context as JSON through the API; compatible AI clients can use MCP tools. Both use the same OAuth connection and selected sharing permissions. For example, share Food and Practical preferences when asking for dinner suggestions. New sections stay private until you approve them.

What should I put in my profile?

Start with interests, food preferences, travel style, budget, pace, and how you want suggestions presented. Include only information you are comfortable giving the tools you select. Review the actual text before approving access.

Do I need an account?

No account is required to write a local profile or export Markdown. Account sync and remote AI connections are separate options. Create your personal profile to get started.

Your taste map

Add what you love, like, want to try, or do not want. Fingerprint shows links between those choices. It does not assign a personality or compatibility score.

Your choice to connect

Your map starts private on your device. You can add an encrypted account, share selected items, join the Network, or give an AI tool limited access. Each choice is separate.

A quieter network

The feed is chronological. Discovery uses public taste only. There are no trending pages, public streak leaderboards, public view counts, or arbitrary media uploads.
